2012 Key Staff Bios
Krisandra Panting, RN, BSN, MBA – Executive Director (FTE):
Ms. Panting joined Dominican Sisters as the Clinical Coordinator/Head Nurse in November, 2008 and advanced to the Executive Director position in May, 2011. She has an extensive clinical and management experience in both acute and chronic healthcare settings from Intensive Care, CCU, cardiovascular, orthopedic, recovery room and Home Care. Managed and supervised large Medicare/Medicaid facilities providing care to over 600 patients each month. She also has a wealth of regulatory knowledge. She enjoys working directly with patients again, especially with the type of care we are able to offer at Dominican Sisters.
Patricia Cox, RN, BSN – Director of Clinical Services (FTE):
Ms. Cox, who successfully enabled our agency to be approved for its first year of State licensure, is a fourth generation Home Health Nurse with over ten years experience in clinical and administrative healthcare. A graduate of the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center’s Nursing Program, Ms. Cox is the mother of two grown daughters and enjoys sailing in her spare time.
Nursing Staff:
DSHHA employs eleven (11) clinical staff made up of a Clinical Director (above), two full-time and three part-time Registered Nurses (with over 200 years of accumulative experience), one full-time Licensed Practical Nurse and four full-time Certified Nursing Assistants. Nine RNs volunteer to staff our weekly senior Wellness Clinics, and seminarians and others volunteers provide pastoral care and friendly visits to patients through our intergenerational Pastoral Care/Friendly Visitor program.
Sister Regis Nuva, OP, RN – Historian and Director of Hospitality:
Sister Regis has been an integral part of Dominican Sisters and the agency since arriving here in 1961. Sister worked as a nurse for many years at the agency and is now lending her good work to building goodwill in the community and caring for the staff of the agency. In 2011, she celebrated her 60th Jubilee and 50 years of service to Denver.
Eva Potter – Director of Finance & New Business Development (FTE):
Ms. Potter performs all bookkeeping and accounting functions, in addition to development and marketing projects for DSHHA. She is a former nonprofit executive director of the Listen Foundation and has also worked at numerous corporate jobs around the world including Disney and Marriott.
Carol Hadd – Information & Outreach Manager (PTE):
Ms. Hadd is a “western girl”, who grew up in Tucson, AZ. She learned at an early age how vital it is to give back to the community and has volunteered with multiple service organizations, as well as worked in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. Her duties include keeping our database updated and community outreach including volunteers.
Sandra Jimenez – Office Manager (FTE):
Ms. Jimenez has been employed as Front Office Coordinator for Dominican Sisters since February of 2006. Prior to her employment at the agency, she worked for St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church following her retirement from Qwest Communications after a 25-year career. Sandra has excellent technical and communication skills.
Garrett Rasnick – Durable Medical Equipment Loan Program Coordinator (PTE):
Mr. Rasnick took over the part-time duties of the DME Loan Program in July 2010, after a tour in Iraq with the Colorado Army National Guard. A native of Colorado, Mr. Rasnick is also a pre-med student at CU Denver.
